Time to Heal
You may be gone, but everything reminds me you are still here with me. The love you once comforted me with still lingers in my soul. Your memories left behind still sit with me. These moments that you have been gone feel heavy and complex. These moments of words unspoken, as no words seems to take away the pain I am feeling. I will not continue on everyday the way I am feeling today but I do need time. Time to heal. This loss is a pain that causes an ache to my core. Although this hurt will always be here I’ll be able to continue getting stronger everyday and find peace with knowing you’re at peace. It’s ok for me to feel the way I am feeling, as time goes on this wound will be left as a scar but not feel quite as tender.
